Mrs. Coberly's Counselor's Corner
Hello, Panther Families!
As the new year begins, our K-6 Panthers are continuing to learn new and exciting content in Guidance classes! Recently, these students have begun exploring our “Life Skills” Unit, currently learning about introducing ourselves and meeting new people (social etiquette). In the next few weeks, depending on grade level, students will be learning more about other topics such as personal safety and identification, online/cyber safety, pedestrian and traffic safety, how to earn and save money, daily living skills, basic first aid and more!
One of our upcoming topics, personal safety and identification, encourages students to know their first and last name, home address and the phone number of an emergency contact from memory. As parents/guardians, please review these important safety pieces with your child to prepare them for this upcoming lesson!
Thank you for your continued support as a part of the Logan-Magnolia community!
Sincerely,
Annie Coberly
