The construction of the dome has started. Bedrock Gravel did some quick work to complete most of the digging and tree removal. Bedroom Gravel was able to keep the number of trees removed to a minimum to help us maintain the landscape, with trees circling the dome when the construction is completed.
Bedrock has installed a temporary access road on the east side of the school. This road was necessary as the road on the south side had to be removed to facilitate the construction. Although not paved now, the temporary access road will be paved after school is dismissed for the summer. Waiting will ensure a smooth transition for the upcoming academic year, allowing trucks to reach the school from the east side without disrupting the school's operations.
The project will be in a holding pattern over the next couple of weeks, allowing the ground surface of the dome area to settle. We will provide more updates as the project continues.
